On August 29 and 30, 2025,?Prof. Masaru Matsumoto and Dr. Daijiro Haba from our department participated in the?27th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Pressure Ulcers held in Yokohama. They gave a presentation at Luncheon Seminar 1, co-hosted with?Molten Corporation, under the theme:
“Shaping the Future of Nursing ¡ª Research, Development, and Social Implementation.”

At Molten Corporation’s exhibition booth, a model of the vibration-integrated air mattress¡ªalso introduced during the seminar¡ªwas showcased and drew considerable interest from attendees.

We are also pleased to report that?Dr. Daijiro Haba?was honored with the?Outstanding Presentation Award?at the conference.

Many faculty members and graduate students from our university also participated, including our university president, Prof. Hiromi Sanada, former chair of the society and a leading figure in skin and excretion care. Each engaged actively through presentations and discussions in their respective roles.

Next year¡¯s meeting will be held in Nara Prefecture.
