We participated in?LIFE2025, held from August 27 to 29, 2025, at Kanagawa Institute of Technology. This joint conference combined the?24th Annual Conference of the Japanese Society for Life Support Engineering, the?Welfare Engineering Symposium 2025 of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers,?and the?40th Annual Meeting of the Life Support Society.

With the theme?¡°Toward the Next Quarter Century,¡±?the event featured a wide range of cutting-edge research across fields such as assistive living technologies, rehabilitation engineering, and biomechanics. It offered valuable insights into the future possibilities for collaboration between nursing and engineering.

For our department, the conference was a reaffirmation of the importance of interdisciplinary perspectives and technological application in our research activities.
