On May 2 (Friday), the 2024 Annual Report Meeting was held at Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University.

We invited our collaborative research partners, Molten Corporation, The University of Tokyo, Fujita Health University, and Yokohama City University, to our university to report on the activities of the past year, which included not only research but also education and social contribution activities. The meeting also featured lively discussions.

In pursuit of well-being, we continue to work closely with our collaborative research partners to develop robotic chairs and implement the robotic well-being home in the Noto region.

After the annual report meeting, we held a networking session with Molten Corporation’s representatives, including our undergraduate fourth-year students and graduate students conducting graduation research in our department. This was a valuable opportunity to interact with professionals working in industries outside of hospitals. We were able to learn a lot from discussions we wouldn¡¯t normally have access to, and both the undergraduate students and we as faculty found it to be highly educational.

Moving forward, we will continue to focus on research and educational activities so that elderly home care patients can live with dignity and independence until the end of their lives.
