We participated in the 19th Japan Seating Symposium held at the Arakawa Campus of Tokyo Metropolitan University on December 14 and 15.

Understanding seating is essential before creating the device itself when developing new wheelchairs, so this symposium provided many valuable insights. Although most of the participants were physical therapists and occupational therapists, nurses and caregivers are also becoming involved in seating, and we hope to provide comfortable and safe seating for elderly patients and people with disabilities.
